Here we are along the Yampa River & nestled in a tiny corner of Bud Werner Memorial Library, welcome you to our community to share good food for a good mood.

Our Story
We always found the Bud Werner Memorial Library to be a sanctuary of cultivating inspiration, creativity, & engaging with community. After many years of “trying to figure out life” while being tucked upstairs with a laptop & journal in hand - we saw the cafe space avail itself downstairs in the common area.
In 2023, with curiosity, we asked “What is the plan with the cafe?” & found ourselves with the opportunity to create & submit our very first business plan to start & share our first restaurant business, in this tiny corner of the community library. We opened Riverside Cafe in August 2023 & have been pouring specialty coffee & serving wholesome made - from - scratch meals with the Steamboat Springs community since.
Our love for food doesn’t stop at just coffee & tea - we quickly began building custom menus & private catering not too long after opening! Anything from soups & sandwiches take- out to full service barbecue at weddings - we are here to provide quality meals with rich flavors for the purpose of bringing people together intentionally over a nourishing meal.
